EVENT RESCHEDULED:

On behalf of Charlie Nicodemus and the Frederick Rotary Club, you are herby invited to attend a special Open House and Tour of the Earth and Space Science Laboratory.  The Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, March 16th beginning at 11:15 am.  There will be a brief tour and showing in the theater.  The event is free to the Rotarian and his or her spouse/guest.  No R.S.V.P. is required.

The Earth and Space Science Laboratory is located at 210 Madison Street, Frederick, adjacent to Lincoln Elementary.

Many area Rotarians have generously contributed to this project. Hope you can attend.

Fifth Annual Bikes for the World Event!

Do you have an old bike gathering dust in your basement, shed or garage?  If so, bring that old bike to McCurdy Field on March 27th from 9AM to 1PM where Bikes for the World will collect that bike and send it to a partner organization in a developing country.  In many parts of the world, these bikes become both a valuable means of transportation and a means for local economic development.  And it means one less thing going into our local landfill.

A donation of $10 per bike is required to help defray the cost of  overseas shipping.  The cash donation and value of the bike may be tax deductible.
