Hands-on Project: Light The Night Walk

Posted in: Hands-on Projects

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) organized the Light The Night Walk on November 1st. The event has the aim to raise funds that allow livesaving treatments for patients living with all kinds of blood cancers. LLS provides patient support services, advocacy for lifesaving treatments and supports the most promising cancer research anywhere.

Our Rotary Club of Carroll Creek was present. Our fellow Rotarians helped with set up. They inflated and assembled balloons decorations for the event, and helped with the tear down at the end of the event.

Special thanks to our volunteers Mary Kate BattlesLisa AushermanLisa OrtizHelen and Jim MaleadyTiff AhaltMary Boswell and to the HOP manager Terry O’Malley.
