Rotary Club of Carroll Creek is announcing a new round of funding for its "Next BIG Project".  Nonprofit organizations and public agencies are invited to submit concept plans/ideas for new projects. Please review the attached eligibility criteria and guidelines. Past projects include the gymnasium in the PAL Center, Baker Park Band Shell, Murals of Hope at FMH, and Carroll Creek Bridge Mural.

The selected Next BIG Project should meet the following 4 criteria:

  1. Achievable (Sufficient resources can be marshaled – either internally or in   partnership – so that the club’s finances and/or other commitments will not be unduly burdened or jeopardized by the Project.)
  2. Sustainable (The benefits of the Project will continue after the Project is considered to have been completed.)
  3. Visible (The Project is an identifiable representation of the Club’s efforts.)
  4. Necessity (The Project would likely not be accomplished without the Club’s engagement.

Applications that meet the above criteria will reviewed by the Next BIG Project Committee. The goal of the committee is to select a project that:

  • is consistent with the goals of the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek,
  • is one that club members believed was the best of possible projects,
  • is beneficial to the community,
  • is lasting (long-term), and
  • exemplifies the Rotary spirit.

Applications are due by May 1, 2015.
