Community Outreach

Community-Service.jpg

For a community to thrive, each of its members must honor a commitment to contribute to the well being of the whole by returning those benefits in kind. Rotarians recognize the importance of giving back by finding ways to improve the quality of life for those in their communities and to serve the public interest.

The Community Service Committee organizes and coordinates the club’s support of local service projects. Club support can be provided in two ways: financial and “hands-on” effort. In some cases, our club performs the project entirely using club resources; in other cases the club supplements the efforts of other organizations. Projects may be proposed by the general public or by club members.

Hands-On Projects

Our Hands-On Projects committee is made up of an energetic group of Rotarians dedicated to improving Frederick County. We can help with anything from painting and yard work to planting water lilies in Carroll Creek. LEARN MORE

Lincoln Elementary School

The Rotary Club of Carroll Creek supports Lincoln Elementary School by organizing their chess club, math club, running club and by mentoring students. An annual program is hosted to recognize an educator and student for their achievements throughout the year.
